Summary: Vascular surgery is a challenging and exciting discipline that has redefined itself during the last decade. Our interface with colleagues from vascular medicine, cardiology, and interventional radiology has resulted in new treatments and the performance of less invasive procedures for management of carotid occlusive disease, abdominal aortic aneurysm, and peripheral vascular insufficiency.
